When Pottermore opened to the public a week or so ago I created an account right away and couldn't wait to be sorted into my "official" house, which I knew would be Ravenclaw.

I'm a big time Star Wars fan and gamer but not really into that World of Warcraft MMO genre. However when Bioware produced The Old Republic game I had to try it out and see if I would like it. I mean who doesn't want to be a Jedi knight right? Here is an illustration of Yulanna, Jedi Consular. Heavily inspired by D*sney's style here.

Kiss The Girl

The Little Mermaid came out when I was 7 years old, I was THE demographic for that film so Ariel has really been my favorite princess since that age. I am proud to say that my daughter Ella(6) has of her own opinion decided Ariel is also her favorite so we were watching it and I decided that I'd try some background painting and integration with illustrator. After this success there will be more.

I always thought this was Ariel's equivalent to rape face.

Concept for the cover art of the children's book that my husband is writing. It was my first experience with watercolors and I'm looking forward to redoing this piece now that I have a firmer grasp of the media.
The story is about the daily life of a little girl. Its inspired by our daughter Ella.

Happy Valentine's Day- Brie Mine

I made this Valentine for my husband Tim, he's my real life Alistair. Sure he doesn't share my love of cheese but he's got it where it counts.
I spent most of my Valentines Day in the ER with our daughter (she's ok)so I didn't really get to color it properly, may edit it later with better color.

100 Challenge: 8 Innocence

Right now my son Lucius is 3 and at one of the most innocent stages in my opinion. He looks at me with these wide eyes and this smile that I can't do any wrong and the world is like a shiny new penny, which he will pick up and yell "Look mom! I got the monies!!!" Its just amazing.
